You cant really call it brand new when it has 4 hours on it, but it might as well be. The list price on this fishing maching is $147,596. She is a beautifully designed Sutphen Sportfishing boat and is powered by a 315 HP Yanmar diesel with a closed cooling system. It has a Mercruiser Bravo 1HD diesel drive with a stainless steel 4 blade propeller, and comes with an underwater stainless steel exhaust system.
 
Sutphen is a custom builder of high speed boats, hand built one at a time. No more than twelve a year. They are the only company to build what is called a soft ride 26 degree variable Vee bottom for an easy landing in big water and great turning ability. Also by not having what is called a constant Vee the trim angle is not as critical and is more forgiving if you are a little off so you don't scuff off speed.
 
If you are into serious fishing, and intend to make runs out to the Canyon, this boat has a 400 mile range due to a sizeable 110 gallon tank and impressive 3.7 mpg at cruise. She tops out at 50 mph so you can get there and back in no time.
 
She has a small but comfortable cuddy cabin (6 7 V-bunks) with head flushing and pump out and lockable cabin door.
 
Both fresh and salt water washdowns, 40 gal livewell, stainless steel cleats, which are recessed in the stern to avoid tangling of fishing lines, full length cockpit coaming bolsters, twin bolster seats, and a twin front console seat with a 94 gal cooler. There is also an in cockpit sink with cutting board, six stainless steel rod holders, dual fish boxes with Jabsco mascerators, dual HD Rule bilge pumps, knife/plier compartment, dual tackle stations, six storage lockers topside and two hanging lockers in the cabin.
 
The hull is a vinylester resin with hand laid bi and tri-axle fiberglass, composite closed cell high density foam core deck and hull, full length composite stringer system and transom with all stainless steel hardware including bow and grab handles. This boat has a self-bailing non-skid deck and cockpit with an anchor windlass.
